Perdition and Politics

So you think things are bad in Washington?

For those of you who don't live in our Pretty Great State anymore, you're going to miss this. But I wanted to share a piece of it with you.

This is the guy who made a ton of money off of in-your-face marketing, and now he's taking that energy to capitol hill. And this time he's bringing the hellfire and damnation with him. It's worth following some of his statements online as they come along because they sound like they were written by Wierd Al, and if you're like me, you saw "UHF" and you loved it.

This is also the same dude who drove his company into the ground after being arrested for brandishing a handgun in traffic and landing his parachute on or near the freeway. This is better than Arnold.

Kiss it, California.

  1. He's so manic it's disturbing!

    DSM IV diagnosis for mania:
    A) At least one week of abnormally and persistently elevated, expansive or irritable mood.
    B) At least 3 of the following have persisted in a significant manner (4 if mood is irritable):
    1-inflated self-esteem or grandiosity.
    2-decreased need for sleep.
3-the patient has been more talkative than usual or feels pressure to keep talking.
4-flight of ideas (jumping from topic-to-topic) or a subjective sense of racing thoughts.
    5-distractibility.
6-increased goal-directed activity or psychomotor agitation.
7-excessive involvement in pleasurable activities with a high potential for painful consequences (e.g. sexual indiscretion).

I do believe you could argue for him fulfilling the criteria.

  3. I got my little voter info packet in the mail yesterday and was disturbed by superdell's presence in it.(And who's that loser democrat running for Governor? Even I'M voting for Huntsman.)

The percentage of people who vote for him will be in direct accordance with people in Utah who A) Don't wish to live in this world anymore or B) Those who are manic.

The same could be said for those voting for Jason Chaffetz (ZING!)

  4. The man's a loon. (No offense to the birds.) He lived next door to my parents-in-law with his pit bulls during his computer selling days, and they've got a load of stories about him.

    Good luck, Utah.
