I went nice and made the high score (81) worth 100. Basically everyone just added 19 to their score. What was interesting was that I had 2/3 A's & B's and then 1/3 C- to D-. Strange indeed.
I would have liked them to score around 80-85 as a class average. I figure they should have studied 10 points harder and I should have made the test about 10 points easier.
72%! 72%!
ReplyDeleteHey! I was going to say 72%!! But I guess I'll say 69% instead...
ReplyDeleteI'm going to say 65%
ReplyDelete75%
ReplyDeleteNo faith. 52%
ReplyDeleteAlright, I will end the suspense. The winner is smash. The class average was 64%. Five extra credit points for you.
ReplyDeleteYay! When can I cash them in?
ReplyDeleteWow, that's pretty bad, is it their fault or YOUR fault...
ReplyDeleteAlso, is there a curve in place? What's your methodology here?

Uh oh, now I owe smash something. I will have to think about how to actually award five virtual extra credit points.
