No BRCA Mutation!

Taliatha just got her genetic testing results from Myriad Genetics and she tested negative for BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations. Her Mom died of breast cancer at 41 and her maternal grandmother died of breast cancer at 45, so we knew she had a 50% chance of inheriting a BRCA mutation from her Mom. I had always just assumed Taliatha carried the mutation and figured we would have to deal with breast cancer. Hallelujah! Now I don't have to worry about my wife dying prematurely or any of our children carrying the mutation. What a great relief. I just wanted to share this great news with all of you.
